What You Will Do :
- You are hands-on with Bash scripting and are excellent at Python.
- You are in your element in a Unix/Linux environment i.e.
- You can create shell/python scripts for automating tasks.
- You can use make to compile packages from source with static/dynamic dependencies as necessary.
- You can handle/replace/upgrade packages on a virtual appliance.
You can deal with init.d/systemd configuration & crontab.
- You know your way around storage, volumes and file systems.
- You can root-cause kernel panics looking at the system logs.
- You have a good grasp of Data Center concepts like virtualization and have worked with virtual appliances in the past.
- You have excellent communication skills to articulate your decisions and thought process.
- You write clear and precise documentation for the code you have written.
- You have a collaborative approach and are self-motivated.
