NIIST Recruitment 2020 – CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) invites online job application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Technician – 04 posts. Candidates with the qualification of 10th + ITI in welding/ Tool and Die making/ Computer Operator and Programming Assistant trades are eligible to apply for this job. The selection will be based on the trade test & written examination. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should pass SSC/10th Standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate in welding or national/state trade certificate in welding/ Tool and Die making/ Computer Operator and Programming Assistant OR
- 2 years of full-time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in welding/ Tool and Die making/ Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.

- Screening Committee will recommend the candidates to be called for Trade Test
- Those who qualify in the trade test will be invited for a competitive written examination.
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written examination
Scheme of examination:
- Mode of Examination – OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.
- Medium of Questions – The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except the questions on the English Language.
- Standard of exam – SSC + ITI / XIIth Standard
- Total No. of Questions – 150
- Total Time Allotted – 2 hours 30 minutes
